With your flashy cars and hustle scars.

You…are…a…LOSER!

Spare me a few words before you unleash your bruisers.

In four words, we all are losers.

Thing is, I just want to tell you how much of a loser you are.

Don’t mistake me for a preacher,

I’m just a guy seeking his Lord’s wager.

First, take a look at your massive house and flashy cars,

You are living the video life of Hollywood stars,

The VIP of the parties after the premieres.

You would spend a stack on cognac and spirits,

But would turn your back to the needy on the streets.

Maybe you can’t see them because of the dark shades you have on,

Or maybe you can’t hear their pleas because of the loud music you have on,

Or maybe you can’t smell the stench of poverty because of the ‘scent’ you have on,

So you just turn your swag on and…move on.

Your hustle scars tell you it’s your cash,

That you can splash as much as you stash,

But you forget that it can all go in a flash.

Hear the words of my Lord once more,

Kullun nafsin za’ikatul mawt,

Rough translation, you shall expire

Even when you least desire,

And you definitely don’t want ur Hastalavista to be in the fire,

Which then brings us to the question of the type of loser that you are.

If your loss gives you success in your eternity, then you are a good loser,

Something like limiting the damage.

But if your loss gives you ‘otherwise’ in your eternity, then you are an ‘otherwise’ loser.

But maybe if you discard the cognac and Smirnoff,

Maybe if you turn the music off,

Maybe if you turn the ‘riyah’ swag off,

Then you can be a successful loser.
