THESE ARE THE TIMES

Time,
Every moment  prime,
Cuz u can never get it back with the dime.
But these are sour times,
Times which seem like grimes on time itself,
These are the times,
Born of the words and actions of the past times.
Because prophecies come true like its a mime.

These are the times,
When the baby suckles from his mother, holding a whip,
When our women have become Hour glasses with the swaying of their hips,
When zina is an occupation with unimaginable reap.

These are the times,
When our screened boxes of fitna have appreciated,
And our own bodies have depreciated,

These are the times,
When the barefooted men have made their homes in the sky,
And the hyena has been made to lead the pride
When a girl knowing barbie better than she knows her mama isn't seen as a disaster,
And the best soccer on tv is given to us by the brewmaster.

These are the times,
When my ummah has become eat free n take away,
Much to the delight of the beasts of prey.
And leave their lives savaged by the end of the day.

These are the times,
When David's son has become Golaith,
When Moses brother has become the Pharaoh,
And the seeds of the sahabah has bore the tyrants.

These are the times,
When my brothers made tommorrow's headlines yesterday,
Because they made their triggers their sixth fingers,
Because their tongues couldn't shoot to kill.

And just like old times bore these times,
These times will bear later times,
Times which would still come like a mime,
When the sun rises from the west,
When the two Messiahs and the guided ones put us to test,
When in Lydda, the Messiah lays the other Messiah to waste,
When the son with no father will uncross many 'T's,
When d window of repentance would be closed, no pleas.
We can go on and on with these,
But know that this is no brain tease,
These aren't guesses, rather guarantees.
Peace.

CALL OF DUTY

This is not a call to war.
This is not a call to leave your homes and family,
Infact, it is a simpler call, only this time, its almost as good as the best callings!
How long can you live with pain?

She's Hadiat Oyesiji. She had an accident about 3 years ago, while returning to school from Saki where she resides after an ASUU strike. Her spinal cord and some other parts of her precious body was affected, since 2009, this sister has been going through unimaginable pains, as she is neither able to sit nor stand. Now she needs close to 2.7million, to undergo surgery in India, and she needs your assistance in raising the money and also include her in your daily dua'a.

"Those who spend their substance in the cause of Allah and follow not up their gifts with reminders of their generosity or with injury - for them their reward is with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve" Qur'an 2:262

Remember that no amount is too small, but at the same time, the more you donate, the faster we get this over with.

Tell your friends, parents, family and everybody!!!

Remember that when there is a call, the first to respond is better than the second, and the second, better than the third and so on.

Remember her in your prayers too.

Save A Soul Today, pls help share this. Jazakhumllahu khayran

HEY LOSER!

You, yes YOU!
With your flashy cars and hustle scars.
You…are…a…LOSER!
Spare me a few words before you unleash your bruisers.
In my Lord’s words,
Wal asr,
Innal insana lafi khusr.
In four words, we all are losers.
Thing is, I just want to tell you how much of a loser you are.
Don’t mistake me for a preacher,
I’m just a guy seeking his Lord’s wager.
First, take a look at your massive house and flashy cars,
You are living the video life of Hollywood stars,
The VIP of the parties after the premieres.
You would spend a stack on cognac and spirits,
But would turn your back to the needy on the streets.
Maybe you can’t see them because of the dark shades you have on,
Or maybe you can’t hear their pleas because of the loud music you have on,
Or maybe you can’t smell the stench of poverty because of the ‘scent’ you have on,
So you just turn your swag on and…move on.
Your hustle scars tell you it’s your cash,
That you can splash as much as you stash,
But you forget that it can all go in a flash.
Hear the words of my Lord once more,
Kullun nafsin za’ikatul mawt,
Rough translation, you shall expire
Even when you least desire,
And you definitely don’t want ur Hastalavista to be in the fire,
Which then brings us to the question of the type of loser that you are.
If your loss gives you success in your eternity, then you are a good loser,
Something like limiting the damage.
But if your loss gives you ‘otherwise’ in your eternity, then you are an ‘otherwise’ loser.
But maybe if you discard the cognac and Smirnoff,
Maybe if you turn the music off,
Maybe if you turn the ‘riyah’ swag off,
Then you can be a successful loser.
So my friend, as I leave you now, I hope you don’t send your bruisers,
I think they are better off cleaning their BARs.
My last words for you,
When you will lose,
LOSE WELL!

The Successful loser is the one who loses the life of this world for the Next.

WHO WILL JUDGE THE JUDGES?

Who will judge the judges?
The judges who stirred the grudges,
The very judges who blew the bridges.
Who will bully the bullies?
The bullies who spell disaster and turnover the underdogs' trolleys,
The very bullies who spit fire, sorrow and death.
But know that the cup has spilled its contents,
That the caravans are moving and the dogs are barking,
That dusk has come and the time is right,
That the redeemers have come
Like thieves in the middle of the night,
And by dawn, they will be a hell of a sight
For who makes peaceful change impossible
Makes violent change inevitable.

I FOUND LOVE

In Boonaa's words,
You should only say 'I love you' when its completely obvious.
Let me tell you about my love.
She was born in blood like every other,
Made pure like no other.
The timing of her birth perfectly chosen,
Her cradle, perfectly woven.
Her brothers and sisters made it neccessary,
To tell everyone, by any means neccessary,
They did it with zeal like paid mercenaries.
And while she grew up, she became known by all and sundry.
Some loved her make-up, and applied it,
Others tried to mess it up and hated it.
Now over to my side of the story.
How did I find love?
Everybody was talking about her,
She made the headlines almost every hour,
Truth is, I always had her,
I just didn't know how much she meant,
Not until I felt I was about to lose her to the headlines,
Did I realise being with her meant being in the frontlines.
Boonaa also said,
"One day everyone will be dead,
But not everyone truly lives".
I'd be a living dead without her.
I know I did a horrible job lowering my gaze,
But the beauty I saw can be seen by a blind man in a haze.
My gaze, never again am I going to lower,
Cuz I want to be with her every hour.
I still hear crazy stuff about her,
How men used her to fulfill their desires.
How I want to tell everyone about who she really is,
Cuz being with her will only give you eternal bliss,
But all I might get for speaking would be a diss.
So you can tease all you please,
Cuz in her arms I found peace.
And incase you find out who she really is,
You can come to her and grab a piece or two,
And YES!!! I can share her with you,
Eat from her knowledge as much as you can chew.
And if by now you yearn to meet her like I did,
Then telling you are name is a done deed!
And yes again! I'd share her so she caters for your need!
Cuz inDEED, there's enough for everyone!
So call...EVERYONE!
And let them hear her name

Her name is islam,
And with her I found love.
Are you in love?

My many reasons to be thankful

Its been a while! I should come around more often. Actually, this title is stolen (most of it) but its the best I can think of now. I want to share something very important about a personal experience. It's my friend, we had big plans together for the holidays, then came the problem; he had to go for a heart surgery which of course laid all our plans to waste (thank God it was succesful). One thing that really struck me on my visit to the hospital was not my friend, but his new friend; the guy whose bed was next to his, Andy. This is his story; he had a good life, the job, car etcetra etcetra. Then something happened in 2009, he was attacked by some gays in his house who tried to rape him without any success. Because of his resistance, they poured acid down his throat. It burned his lips, tongue, and gullet. He almost cant remember what food tastes like and the worst part is that he cant even swallow saliva. He has been on a liquid diet ever since and he feeds through a tube in his a stomach area. He narrated something to me which is why I'm writing this. He said he used to be a complainer always lamenting about his state like the world hated him. Something changed him. One day, he went to another ward to check on someone and as he entered, he saw a man who had a kind of tumour hanging from below down to his knee area. Andy stood there glued and when the man saw him, he called him over and gave him some money. He thought Andy was a beggar! The point here is, even in that pathetic state, the man still deemed it fit to be charitable! Andy never complained since then. The truth is, we all have something to be thankful for even air because people actually pay for oxygen! Finally, dont be sad, you are in a better state than someone so just...SMILE and be THANKFUL

Que sera, sera

Its been a while
Like he said, "I guess I had to go to that place, so I can be in this place.
Now we are going to do something,
Close your eyes and imagine yourself in like...10 years from now.
Seriously... Lets just say you did it. Now imagine yourself at around age 60.
You might see yourself with kids around, wrinkled skin etcetra etcetra...
Now one bitter fact is that when ever I try to imagine myself at 60,
You know what I see? Nothing!
At first, I thought it was weird,
But then I started to think about it.
Later on I understood why; it was my state of mind.
We all say we want to do this and that,
But have we ever asked ourselves this questions?
How sure are we that we will live to achieve those things?
How sure are we that even if the time comes, we will have that life we desire?
Everybody wants to be that 'billionaire' thats why that 'song' was a hit.
Another question is this;
If everybody becomes rich, who will do the dirty jobs?
Who will sweep the roads, clean the drainages, do the plumbing?
If you have never thought of this, then get yourself a quiet place and think.
So I thought about it and arrived at my conclusion; what will be mine, will be mine... eventually.
Think...
